“Yo, so…. I found this new band. They’re pretty good.”
I listened to the song he played. It sounded like everyone in the band was on something when they recorded it.
“It sounds like they’re on drugs,” I said.
Carl looked offended. ”Dude, you don’t know anything. These people are genius. Absolute, pure genius.”
“Only because you think they sound weird and different and innovative.” I took the album out of his hand and peered at the cover. I didn’t really understand it and it was unmarked.
“What’s the band called?” I asked.
“The Adventures of Man and Bones.”
